Kittens!

Hooray for Ch. Amoramist Angelica Ray! Here she is with her first litter of kittens, born mid-March.

Three chocolate-series colourpoint kittens with happy mother

The kittens’ eyes haven’t opened yet but when they do one of the first things they’ll see is Mum’s ‘Best of Variety Kitten’ rosette from the Midland 2018 hanging above their nest. Their Daddy is Cork’s 2018 Best Persian exhibit, Champion Risetta Mister Pickwick.

SABCCI Champions

Our handsome young man, Risetta Mister Pickwick (Samuel), and adorable girl, Amoramist Angelica Ray, were each awarded  two Challenge Certificates and Best of Breed at the SABCCI and GCCFI double show in Dublin on 21.10.18. This means they have both now achieved their Champion titles! Ch. Amoramist Cornish Qween was awarded her first Grand Champion award plus a Reserve Grand Champion. The judges worked very hard at a busy show and our thanks go to Mrs. Tokens and Mrs. Ford.

Cork 2018

Our stud boy in waiting, Risetta Mister Pickwick (Samuel), was Best of Variety Persian at his show debut at the Cork Cat Club show in Blarney on 16th September. For Amoramist Angelica Ray this was her first show as an adult. Both were awarded their first Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed.

GCCFI Supreme 2018

Angelica is once again Best of Variety Persian kitten

Newly-crowned champion, Ch. Amoramist Cornish Qween

We have a new Champion in the family! Queenie received her third challenge certificate so has won her title in three straight shows . Meanwhile little Amoramist Angelica Ray went across the table before the Supreme Exhibit judging panel as Best of Variety Persian kitten. Thanks to all the organisers, the visitors young and old who made friends with and took pictures of our girls, and to Persian judges Mrs. Roy and Mrs. Heavens. You can read more about the highlight of the GCCFI showing year here.

Northern Ireland Cat Club 2018

There was consternation on the awards table at the Northern Ireland Cat Club show on 10th March when Angelica Ray’s awards slip arrived with the mysterious addition ‘Exc’. Luckily it was just judge Mr. Van Der Wijk making the comment ‘Excellent’! Another 1st and Best of Breed for Angelica, and a first UK challenge certificate plus Best of Breed for Amoramist Cornish Qween.

Thurles 2018

Amoramist Angelica Ray had a double red card day at the Midland Cat Club of Ireland and GCCFI show in Thurles on 11 February 2018. Meanwhile Amoramist Cornish Qween won two challenge certificates. Thank you to the show organisers and to the judges: Barbara Prowse, whose report on our girls can be read here, and Pat Perkins, report here.
